Del Frisco’s Grille is the sister restaurant to Del Frisco’s Double Eagle—elevated dishes in an unbuttoned environment. We put together a brand system that celebrates this more casual and social experience while enhancing its level of sophistication.

Before & After

In addition to refreshing the original Del Frisco’s Grille logo, we created a simple and clean DFG monogram as a supplemental mark to be used in smaller scenarios or in restaurant.

Style Guide

We created a comprehensive style guide covering brand pillars, voice & tone, typography, color, graphic elements, photography and how to use them in combination to create compelling brand communication.

A La Mode Pies

A La Mode has been a Seattle favorite since 2009, and with their success at the original Phinney Ridge Café they decided it was time to expand. For this new chapter they commissioned Column to enhance their brand identity as part of a comprehensive new brand system—ranging from signage, menus, apparel and a variety of other touchpoints. This brand system was later translated to beautiful packaging that encompassed all of their offerings, from pie to Pies Cream.
